Gatorball Photography is Changing This Fall!
I enjoy everything about photographing Gatorball — from posed portraits and team photos to the game action and watching the kiddos take the field for the first time.
This fall - my eighth season with Gatorball - I'm introducing a new photography format that will allow me to provide more intentional, dedicated coverage for the teams that want it, while making individual and team photos easier to schedule.
Here's how the new Game Action program works:
Teams reserve dedicated photography coverage by committing to a combined $500 in AdvancePay photo credits.
The $500 is NOT an additional photography fee.
Every dollar purchased through AdvancePay belongs to the family who purchased it and becomes credit toward their own PhotoDay order once the gallery opens.
With a typical 12-player roster, the $500 team commitment averages less than $42 per player if everyone participates — but families do not have to contribute equally.
Some families may choose $50. Others may choose $75, $100 or more, depending on what they expect to purchase.
Once your team collectively reaches $500 in AdvancePay credits through the PhotoDay platform, one complete game is reserved for dedicated photography coverage.
Your credit stays yours.
AdvancePay credit can be used toward prints, digital images and other products available through your team's PhotoDay gallery.
It can also be used in other Kathy Cafazzo Photography PhotoDay galleries — especially helpful for families with multiple players or families who still have photos from previous seasons they'd like to order.
How Does My Team Reserve an Action Game?

Your Team Photo Contact will NOT collect or handle any money.

Each team will choose one Team Photo Contact — a coach, team parent or other volunteer — to serve as the team's point person for photography.
Your Team Photo Contact will share information with the team, gauge interest in reserving an Action Game and keep a simple tally of how much families intend to purchase in AdvancePay credits.
Your Team Photo Contact will NOT collect or handle any money.

Once your team has at least $500 in intended AdvancePay purchases, your Team Photo Contact will let me know your team is ready to move forward.
Kathy will then give your team the go-ahead to purchase individual AdvancePay credits directly through PhotoDay.
Please do not purchase an AdvancePay credit until your Team Photo Contact confirms that your team is ready to move forward.

INDIVIDUAL PLAYER PORTRAITS
There will be a limited number of designated Gatorball Portrait Days this fall.
Families will register in advance so I can plan enough photography time for everyone. Players will still have the opportunity for the posed baseball portraits Gatorball families know and love.

TEAM PHOTOS
Team photos will also be scheduled in advance this season.
Coaches/Team Photo Contacts will reserve a designated team-photo time rather than trying to coordinate pictures immediately before or after games.

What About Other Game Action?
You'll still see me around the fields with my camera — I love photographing Gatorball!
I'll continue photographing additional games throughout the season when my schedule allows, but complimentary action coverage is no longer guaranteed for every team.
Reserved Game Action Photography is the way to guarantee one complete game dedicated to your team.
