Simply Me is a timeless, black-and-white personalilty portrait experience for kids ages 3–11 — celebrating the quirks, confidence and charm of childhood.

This limited portrait project is for kids ages 3-11 and is all about capturing who they are right now, the silly faces, serious stares, missing teeth, big laughs, quiet confidence and everything that makes them them.
The final portraits are classic black-and-white artwork.

Each Simply Me session is designed to capture the unique spirit and individuality of every child, resulting in stunning and memorable portraits.
Genuine Expressions.
The Simply Me photography project started in North Central Florida during the summer of 2024. This unique session, focused on capturing the authentic personalities of young kids, and was met with overwhelming enthusiasm and love.
It returned for the summer of 2025 and is happening again in 2026!
Why Simply Me?
Studies have shown that seeing photos of family and themselves displayed in the home has a powerful effect on a child’s sense of self-worth and security. It builds the self esteem of children which is the premise behind the Simply Me portrait project.
Simply Me Art Show
One of Kathy's Simply Me portraits was featured in a national gallery in 2024 and 2025.
In 2025, Kathy wanted every child to feel the excitment of being honored and celebrated and hosted a local Simply Me art show.
It was so well received that the 2026 participants will have the opportunity for their portrait to be featued in local art show!
How It Works
Kathy will reach out to you for a quick phone call to share specific details about SIMPLY ME.
We will also set up a day and time to meet in person for about 15 minutes so you and your kiddo can meet Kathy prior to the portrait session.
During the complimentary in-person meeting, Kathy will share some wall art samples she has so you can envision what type of artwork will look best inside your home.

Since we have chatted about clothing and props, all you need to do is show up and ROCK your session!

About a week after the session, we will meet again for a viewing and ordering appointment.
